Spaghetti Carbonara

Makes enough for 2 good portions

Ingredients

  • 80g cubetti di pancetta
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp single cream
  • some parmesan
  • 25g flat leaf parsley
  • 200g spaghetti

Method

  1. Finely chop the shallot and the garlic
  2. Get the spaghetti on
  3. Fry the pancetta until it starts to go golden, then add the shallot and garlic
  4. Mix the egg, cream, parmesan and parsley together in a bowl
  5. When the spaghetti is cooked, drain and add the fried pancetta, onion and garlic and mix
  6. Stir in the contents of the bowl
  7. Serve!
