Method

  1. Fry Sausages in a big pan until browned. Remove from the pan and cut into halves or thirds
  2. Fry the bacon in the same pan until heading towards crispy
  3. Add the onion, garlic and chilli, fry for a few minutes
  4. Add the sugar
  5. Pour in the tomatoes, wine and 100ml of water
  6. Stir in the beans and sausages
  7. When at the boil, transfer to slow cooker for 30 minutes - 3 hours..
  8. Serve sprinkled with the chopped parsley and bread
