Cooking (Un)Smoked Gammon

Ingredients

Method

  1. Calculate cooking time at 20 minutes per 450g + 20 minutes
  2. Boil in a large pan for half the cooking time
  3. Drain, and keep the stock if required
  4. Preheat oven to 180C / 160C fan
  5. Remove top layer of skin, leaving a little fat
  6. Place in a foil-lined roasting tin, cover with more foil and bake for the remaining cooking time
